Peter Baughan
Peter has worked exclusively in family law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1997.
Peter has been involved in an unusually wide range of family cases. These days he specialises in helping ordinary families deal with financial cases in a way that is sensible and affordable. He has a special interest in cases involving family businesses, companies and trusts. A self declared nerd, Peter is determined and analytical and enjoys working with numbers and accounts!
Peter is past chairman of the local family lawyers group, Norfolk Resolution (Resolution is a national organisation which represents over 5,000 family lawyers).
Peter also has wide experience of unusual children cases, including representing children, parents and grandparents, and advising on cases with an international element. Peter is sympathetic and supportive of his clients but gives realistic, practical advice, and will protect their interests when needed.
Peter was one of the first lawyers in the country to train as a collaborative lawyer and helped found the Good Divorce Group, which now has 50 members. He is also a family mediator.
