Peter Baughan
Peter Baughan is one of the founding partners of bbl family law. He has worked exclusively in family law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1997. Peter previously worked at Mills & Reeve, also in Norwich.
Peter is chairman of the local Resolution group (Resolution is a national organisation which represents over 5,000 family lawyers) and has been accredited by Resolution as a specialist advisor for “financial provision” and “private law children” cases.
He specialises in financial cases, particularly those involving family businesses. He is determined and analytical. Peter also has wide experience of unusual children cases, including representing children, parents and grandparents, and advising on cases with an international element.
Peter was one of the first lawyers in the country to train as a collaborative lawyer and was one of the co-founders of the Norfolk Collaborative Family Lawyers group in 2005. He is also a trained mediator.
